Utility Machines
Caterpillar also produces utility machines, including small excavators, telehandlers, small wheel loaders, and skid steers for all the ancillary jobs at tunnel sites.

CAT underground machine reliability, availability and lowest operating cost are ensured by protection of vital machine components such as the radiator, engine and fluid tank. Substantial rear guards protect against sidewall rubbing, and hydraulic cylinders and rods are shielded from falling rock. Efficient diesel exhaust filtration systems assure a cleaner working environment.
