Strabag SE was awarded the tender to build the 2,255 m-long Kueblis bypass tunnel in the canton Gaubünden with a total value of EUR59 million (CHF 85 million). The 3,359 m-long bypass is part of National Route A28 Landquart-Klosters. The contract includes construction of a 2,070 m safety tunnel with crosspassages at 300 m intervals, and management of the Schanielatobel disposal site neighbouring the bypass.
