Whether you want to incorporate wireless detection of intruders to site equipment, protect costly plant from theft or secure the safety of staff on site, the i-on16 provides a one-box solution.

The i-on16 can connect 32 radio alarms, or 16 wireless detectors and 16 radio alarms, via a new dual-diversity radio system giving unrivalled coverage of up to 3km in free air. Suitable wireless detectors for use with the system include the 714 radio PIR (passive infra-red), 734 radio door contact, the 738 radio shock sensor and the 720 radio smoke detector.

For protection of personnel the Scantronic 700 series of personal alarms and lone worker protection devices are an ideal accompaniment to the system. The wide range includes a 2-button PA (panic attack) personal attack transmitter, a 'man down' PA and pendant transmitters.

Four system outputs enable various notification methods to be added to the system in addition to the two optional 760 radio bells. These can include wired sounders, strobes or beacons. An optional plug-on PSTN (public switched telephone network) speech dialler enables remote communication of an alarm signal direct to a landline, a mobile phone or to a dedicated response centre. The panel can also be connected to the Menvier SD3 GSM speech dialler (also from Copper Security) where a PSTN connection is not possible.
